West Mountain's group lessons are a great way to improve and simply enjoy the sport. Group lessons are offered throughout the winter season and are available for first-time or beginner skiers & snowboarders in our beginner area, ages 4 and older. Rental equipment is available at our very own West Mountain Sports rental shop (across the courtyard from the Main Lodge) Reservations are required and must be reserved at least 24 hours in advance by calling the Snow Sports office at 518-636-3699 ext. 336.

2021-22 Group Lesson Rate: 1.5hr. $60pp (price does not include lift ticket and equipment rentals)

Group Lesson Times:
Weekday: 4pm and 5:45pm
Weekend: 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm
Holidays (midweek and weekend): 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm

Additional Details:

• 1.5 hour group lesson for first time or beginner skiers & snowboarders in our Learning Area for ages 4 and older.
• Students are paired with other students of same discipline and level
• Provides students with physical readiness for development into skiing and snowboarding
• Valid lift ticket and ski/snowboard (rentals) equipment is required for duration of lesson and can be added to your reservation at time of lesson reservation booking.
• If you are taking a lesson and getting rentals, please arrive at least one (1) hour prior to your lesson to get your equipment and be at the meeting area before your lesson start time. If you are not renting, please arrive at least 30 mins prior to the start of your lesson to ensure you are geared up, properly fitted and ready to go.
• Upon arrival to West Mountain, please go directly to the Lessons Check In window (to the left of the Main Lodge entrance doors).
